I await the days when the dark evening hours intrude once again into the afternoon in all its wet, grey glory. The mower and dandelion digger put away, the back given respite from days of hunching in the yard, and my mind happily drinking in pages of books: only then will I be availed the time to attend to the teetering stack yet unread.
1. Why Kleenex doesn't simply add a 2-lb. lead weight to the bottom of each box of kleenex they manufacture to prevent that annoying lift-up-the-whole-box ordeal when you try to retrieve a tissue when it's supply is low is beyond me

Why is it that on Monday morning I can hardly recall the things I did on Saturday? Must be the new week's surge of obligations short-circuiting my brain combined with the fact my Saturdays aren't always filled with particularly memorable events like playing the piano with my toes and water drinking contests.
